There are busy days at Spirit Paws… and then there are days like this

Today, one of our gorgeous Valais Blacknose girls has officially clocked off.

No visits.

No meeting new people.

No important sheep duties.

Just a patch of lawn, a full tummy and absolutely no intention of moving unless something particularly delicious appears.

Our animals are such an important part of what we do, but their rest days matter just as much as their working days. Whether they’re joining us for an animal-assisted session, meeting children, helping someone build confidence or simply making someone smile, we always want their experiences to be positive too.

So today, the diary is closed, the grass is apparently comfortable enough to qualify as a luxury mattress, and she is enjoying a very well-earned day off.

And really… if you looked this fluffy while doing absolutely nothing, wouldn’t you make the most of it too?

Life at Spirit Paws isn’t always busy — sometimes it’s simply a sheep, a lawn and nowhere else she’d rather be.

Spirit Paws – thoughtful animal experiences, education and connection, with animal welfare always at the heart of what we do.
